Wheelchair Fencing
Wheelchair fencing is a dynamic, Paralympic sport. Athletes compete in wheelchairs that are fixed to the floor allowing upper-body movement.
Despite being static, wheelchair fencing is known for its speed, power and fast-pace.
Celtic Sword are passionate about accessibility in sport.
We have been kindly loaned two wheelchair fencing frames, following the Wheelchair Fencing World Cup 2024 which was held in Cardiff!

Celtic Sword are committed to integrating wheelchair fencing into our regular club nights, and we encourage all members to take part, so there is always someone to fence!

Our club venue is accessible with on-site parking, and no-step access into the facilities.
